BOB Revolution SE Single Stroller (BOB)

With an all-around design, with mom & bub in mind, BOB is truly one of the more premium strollers for all the nitty gritty details thrown in, for a great overall jogging experience. This is an especially recommended item for those who are into long-distance jogging while spending time with the little one – some customers have gone for more than 5 mile jogs on a daily basis for over 3 years, and the stroller is still working great! The baby has literally grown up in the stroller per se!

The key considerations of maneuverability will be front-wheel locks, easy transfer of baby in pram seat to car seat, as well as the versatile front wheel which allows for smooth turning of tight corners. All of these are offered by BOB and with a cream on top thrown in: suspension system which has a 2-position shock absorber. This ensures a smooth ride for the little bub, while mum works out on her terrains!

Thule Urban Glide Sport Stroller (Glide)

Thule, being a popular brand for high-quality outdoor equipment, has definitely put a lot of thought into the design of the Urban Glide. The Glide has similar storage systems which are offered by BOB as well, and also the various sun & rain shields which are necessary accessories for a comfortable ride for the bub. Thule has also additional comfort accessories for the bub, such as Thule Baby Supporter (adjustable for 6-18 months bubs) & Baby Bunting Bag (for newborns).

Thule, as does BOB, offers adjustable handlebars for the comfort of jogging parents with different heights. In terms of safety, both Thule & BOB has a stepping lever to engage the rear-wheel brake system. This can be a huge consideration, especially for those of us whose usual terrains involve slopes or hills.

With similar price-points, there are Thule users who swear by the quality of this stroller, being similar to BOB. However, the pet peeve of most customers has been the durability of the connecting parts & wheels becoming wonky after about 10-15 uses. This seems to be a major bane, considering having to pay nearly the same price as BOB.
